Winter jobs on the allotment 8th November

 First dry and bright day for a while. Cycled to the old allotment, weeded and mulched a bed.  Then brought a net tunnel from the new allotment to cover it over. Used some leftover planking to make shelves in the polytunnel.

Cut back this years BlackBerry stems and tied in the new growth for fruit next year. It always seems like there are very few new stems until you manage to cut away the old and start the tying-in process.

Mike has repaired a bird box and put on back on the post, hoping for blue tits to nest in again in the spring.
